Ongeveer halverwege de competitie in de eerste helft van 2020 kunnen we de tussenbalans opmaken over het presteren van de Albatros herenteams in dit seizoen. En dat ziet  er goed. H2 en H4 staan bovenaan; H4 zelfs met een behoorlijke straatlengte. Beide teams maken een goede kans om de door de TC-Heren geformuleerde doelstelling (promotie) ook te gaan halen. H5 is wel de grootste verrassing. ‘Per ongeluk’ gepromoveerd naar de vijfde klasse, was het doel om te proberen niet meteen weer te degraderen. En zie, het team staat op plek 2 – wel vertekend door het grotere aantal wedstrijden dan de andere teams, maar de voorsprong op nummer laatst is toch maar liefst 11 punten. Nòg een seizoen in de vijfde klasse begint tot de mogelijkheden te behoren. Over Heren 1 en Heren 3 schrijven we verder in het Engels:

Halfway the competition the Albatros men teams are doing well
Halfway the competition of the first half of 2020 we can make a provisional assessment of how the Albatros men teams are performing this season. Not too bad, I would say. The Albatros flagship of the men teams, H1, expected in the beginning to have a good chance for a number one position, but that proved to be somewhat too optimistic. Yet, the fifth place is a good result for a team which still has to grow and gain more cohesion and stability. In contrast, H3 is doing better than expected by most; for the time being they are still on top of their poule and we expect them to fall not too much behind. Finally, H5 is doing even more surprisingly well. After the completely unexpected promotion to the fifth class the aim was not to be relegated immediately again, but right now they even won already three games and are 11 points ahead of the number six team. They now have a real chance to remain in the fifth class for at least another season.
